The Silver City Art Association (SCAA) hosted its first WAG Silent Auction during 2020’s Weekend at the Galleries. This successful event came back again in 2021, with both Gila Monsters and New Mexico Ravens created by local artists to support the projects of the SCAA, and promote the organization’s mission of advancing the arts in Silver City and Grant County. It’s now a popular annual event for the SCAA.
2022’s creations included javelinas, ravens, and gila monsters, shown below. Stay tuned for what’s coming in 2023!
