Mimbres Valley Artist Studio Tour

Discover the artists and beauty of the Mimbres Valley during the annual Mimbres Valley Artist Studio Tour, sponsored by the Silver City Art Association.

Located in Southwest New Mexico along the Trail of the Mountain Spirits Scenic Byway and on the edge of the Gila National Forest, the Mimbres Valley is home to a thriving community of artists. Now in its second year, the tour offers visitors a unique opportunity to step inside local artists’ studios, meet the artists, see their work and creative spaces, and discover original art.

Held the first weekend in November, the tour is a perfect autumn getaway. Enjoy a scenic drive through the valley as the cottonwoods along the Mimbres River turn brilliant gold. Take your time exploring the studios, enjoy the beautiful fall weather, and stop for a meal at one of the valley’s three restaurants.
