The Rusty Nest
Kathleen Koopman’s home, garden, and studio collaborate to produce a creative and curated workspace. Combining vast collections and arrangements of raw materials, found objects (focusing on rust) and interesting finds from the forests and fields. Images and pigments drawn from the garden, natuarly weathered and oxidized artifacts collaborate to produce unexpected assemblage and constructions; order arises from chaos.
