Please note that the 2024 deadline for inclusion in the Red Dot Guide has passed.

You may still join SCAA and enjoy all of the other benefits of membership for this year.

The Silver City Art Association is a volunteer-run non-profit membership organization for galleries, studios, and artists who live and work in Silver City and Grant County, NM.

Please complete the form below and submit it before making your payment at the bottom of this page. NOTE: If you would like to simply be a supporter you may join as a Friend of SCAA.

PLEASE NOTE: All members, including those renewing, MUST complete the application each year for accounting purposes, and must submit and send payment by January 1 to be included in the Red Dot Guide. Memberships are for the calendar year. If you join mid-year please contact silvercityreddot@gmail.com for information on a pro-rated membership. Thank you!

  • Three categories of membership are available. Each includes a personal page on this website as well as a listing and image in the full-color RED DOT Art Guide (as long as you’ve joined or renewed by the January 1 of each year; there is no extension on this deadline due to the Guide production schedule). The Guide is distributed regionally and is available for downloading from this Website. Please see the Red Dot Guide specifications listed under each member category below for details and deadlines!

    NOTE: If you would like to be a member in more than one category, simply complete and submit a membership form for each category and then submit your payments for each category via PayPal.

    Gallery or Museum - $150 - Includes 9 images on the Website; one image and ½-page listing in the RED DOT Art Guide, and participation in all SCAA gallery events, such as First Fridays and the Red Dot Weekend at the Galleries. Please submit up to 9 photos of your work at 300 dpi. or higher to silvercityreddot@gmail.com. See Red Dot Guide Specifications for gallery and museum members for specific details and important deadlines.

    Studio - $100 - Includes 6 images on the Website; one image and ¼-page listing in the RED DOT Art Guide with participation in the annual Studio Tour weekend. Please submit up to 6 photos of your work at 300 dpi. or higher to silvercityreddot@gmail.com. See Red Dot Guide Specifications for studio members for specific details and important deadlines.

    Independent Artist - $50 - Includes 3 images on the Website; one image and 1/8- page listing in the RED DOT Art Guide and participation in the annual Independent Artists exhibition. Please submit up to 3 photos of your work at 300 dpi. or higher to silvercityreddot@gmail.com. See Red Dot Guide Specifications for independent artist members for specific details and important deadlines.


    Once you have joined or renewed, please send one image and description for the Red Dot Guide based on the guide specifications linked above under each membership category to:

    no later than January 15 for inclusion in the Guide. Images should be at 300 dpi or higher. Please send any questions about the Guide to this email as well.

    NOTE: A call for website images will be emailed to you after we have collected images for the Red Dot Guide.
